Some #wines can come across rather harsh on your first go. The drink you thought you were having comes out rougher than expected, even for the most rouged gentlemen. But don't give up on your bottle just yet. Luckily for us our gentlemanly forefathers discover a cure for this crisis. #Aeration. The process by which air is circulated through a liquid or substance. There are a variety of methods used to aerate #wine and bring out the aromas. These include swirling wine in a glass, use of a decanter to increase exposure to air, or a specialized wine aerator. Sometimes all you need is a little bit of time. Even the seemingly "cheap" bottles can surprise you with a little bit of aeration. That's why #GDS Rule No. 301 is: "Always give your wine some breathing time."
