"Coasters = Respect."

As all members of the #GDS know, there is nothing quite as refreshing and satisfying as an ice cold #lager. On a scorching summer afternoon, cool nights in the country or even a brisk evening in the city, an ice cold #beer is always a great choice. But before you go laying down that frosted glass on the bar or table like an Icelandic barbarian on century ago, strap on your #gentleman cap and remind yourself of our credo... #Respect. Respect for your fine local establishment or your hosts abode is an signature move of the refined man. Condensation from the glass can leave water stains on any fine wooden surface, not to mention the possibilities of slight spills. So gird your loins and speak up with a request for a #beer mat, slaver, or as we say in the modern vernacular, coaster, to show your respect for the place you are and those around you. And heck, why not bring your own just in case, courtesy is never one to be frowned upon. #GDS Rule No. 203 "Use a coaster. #Respect the establishment."
